Kid Canuck vs Isaac Andrews: K.O. Kings - WatchFighters

Happy new year! One of my resolutions for 2025 is to post more match reviews, so to start of this year of reviews off with a bang I want to go over this excellent match between Kid Canuck and Isaac Andrews.

Kid Canuck, as you might expect, is a Canadian content creator. He first appeared on my RADAR a couple of years ago with his "Cross Border Battles" series of matches where he took on American hunks JJ Allen, Chase Addams, Kayden Keller, and Brendan Byers. He's since had a number of other amazing collaborations including Ultimate Domination, Gabe Steel, Bobby Ben Carter, Forrest Taylor, and Wrestler Jay (just to name a few). I think it's fair to say that he's carved a convincing reputation as a jobber. Isaac Andrews was fairly new to me, first coming to my attention in this match against Tarz Lando. He's popped up in several other wrestlers' videos since, but most recently battled Mickey Knoxx live at Wrestlefest Canada. I think it's fair to say he's carved a convincing reputation as a heel.

These two have fought each other several times over the last couple of years, their most recent match was released a couple of hours ago as of writing. I've made this point in previous reviews, people who've got history also have chemistry. Kid Canuck and Isaac Andrews have that in spades.

Despite their apparent reputations I was very pleasantly surprised by how this match played out. Andrews starts the match humiliating the Canadian, but it doesn't take long for the roles to reverse. They are a delightfully good match for each other here. When Isaac manages to regain control he realizes that looking for taps isn't proving fruitful, so he switches tack. The first of many knockouts comes in the form of a camel clutch/sleeper combo.

"Already?"

But just one isn't enough. Isaac quickly headscissors a barely conscious Kid Canuck for a second knockout just moments later. He suffers so well, too well, in fact. I was half expecting Isaac to keep going, thinking maybe the video was supposed to be called "K.O. KING" instead of the plural. But then Kid Canuck started growing into the back-and-forth aspect of this match and rolled his larger opponent up into a humiliating spladle. I was sold.

When Isaac starts dominating it feels sadistic and inevitable. When Kid Canuck starts dominating it feels righteous and deserved. Swap the names around when talking about suffering and the adjectives fit perfectly. These two play the roles of heel and jobber very well, and I think the balance they struck in this match is perfect.

There's a moment here where Kid Canuck wipes Isaac's own pre-cum across his mouth

Speaking of chemistry and things being inevitable, I'd like to discuss the palpable sexual energy of this match. In a word, it's amazing. In between all the scissors and bodyslams (yes, bodyslams) there frottage, kissing, fondling, and ass biting (yes, ass biting). Despite all of that, and some more, the singlets don't even come off. If you want an even more erotic thrill between these two then I suggest checking out their most recent release, "ROOM SERVICE", which is next on my watchlist.

All's fair in love and war

If you love piledrivers, camel clutches, crotch-to-face pins, knockouts, pained moans, frottage, etc., then this is a match you should seriously consider checking out. Kid Canuck and Isaac Andrews give us viewers heaps of excellently-presented variety, and for that we should be thankful. If I decided to buy this match before the new year it definitely would've made my top 5 of 2024. But as the first match I've watched this year, the bar for 2025 has been set very high.

Did I mention that both of them were rock hard the entire time?

"K.O. KINGS" has a runtime of 25:49 and can be found on WatchFighters here.
