Bodybuilder Singlet Match - WatchFighters

It's come to my attention that my time management is poor. Regular readers who notice my inconsistent blog posts will not be surprised by this, unfortunately. Anyway, unlike the first to matches I reviewed this year this isn't a 'sexy match'. By that I don't mean that it's not hot, I wouldn't be reviewing it otherwise, but the homoeroticism isn't a focus.

Krush has been a mainstay of the wrestling community for a while now. He's posted a number of matches on his website for what I'm sure has been well over a decade at this point. His matches, all grappling-focused, are characterized by a distinct vicious carnality; he was even the focus of a documentary on that very topic. Krush's wrestling style and favorite kind of match is right up my alley: lots of close body contact, rough wrestling, and a primal urge to fight. If I were to think of something to describe as "hot and heavy" the first thing that comes to mind is a Krush match.

Krush's opponent in this WatchFighters exclusive is Johnny O, who is one of a handful of regular opponents for Krush as featured on his site. They've fought each other at least six times, but I'm betting there are a bunch more matches lurking in Krush's archives. I assume this match was recorded a number of years ago based on the resolution (852x480, or 480p) and orange hue. That doesn't detract from the joy this match brings me, however.

There's a familiarity between them, a history, which serves to elevate the match. There's also a remarkable similarity between them. They have a very similar appearance. I have no evidence to support this but I believe this is a turn on for Krush. It is for me too.

Krush and Johnny rarely spend time apart in this match and are often locked together, chest to chest, trying to wear each other down with smothers, pins, and grapevines. Krush spends most of this time on top of Johnny, but that doesn't mean he's winning. Johnny gives just as good as he gets.

Bump 'n grind

Despite a minor editing mistake nearly halfway into the video, the match is consistently entertaining. Krush and Johnny roll across the makeshift mat room nearly non-stop, looking for the elusive tap. Although many of the positions they end up in might feel repetitive, the sound of the body punches getting heavier and the groans becoming more pained kept me watching eagerly. They are just two of the many signs that these two are getting more desperate to win. The match doesn't feel stagnant.

I'd be lying if I said this wasn't my favorite moment

The fight only gets more interesting. When conventional methods of finding a tap or knockout fail Krush resorts to some unconventional tactics, much to our benefit. One weapon often found in a Krush video is the strap, used almost exclusively for strangulation and yanking his opponent around the mat. One of my highlights from this match is when Krush grabs the strap and tries to choke Johnny out with it.

The palpable struggle in Johnny's groans is a sound that resonates with the pleasure center in my brain, and will continue to do so for quite some time.
