The WatchFighters Rumble
It's been a while. Life has been kicking my ass for the last couple of months and I've had almost no time to dedicate to this blog, but what better way to get back to blogging than by reviewing something incredible and unique.
A rumble match is something I've only seen in the context of pro wrestling. For the uninitiated, it's a match consisting of a large number of wrestlers, sometimes up to 40. The wrestlers draw lots, each receiving a number that designates their entry spot. The match starts with the first two wrestlers, with the others entering the fight according to their entry number in set time intervals. Eliminations in these matches tend to happen by ring out, and the match ends when there's only one wrestler left.
Sir Dark had the idea of applying this concept to submission wrestling. But given that for most in our world gay wrestling is only a hobby, how does someone get 17 different wrestlers in the same room at the same time? The answer is Wrestlefest Toronto. As far as I'm aware, this is the only submission wrestling-based rumble match out there, which I believe makes Sir Dark a pioneer.
Unfortunately Blogger has a character limit for tags, so here is the complete list of all the wrestlers involved (in no particular order): Beau Jordan, Veneno, Isaac Andrews, Feroce DeLeon, Demonflex, B-Sprite, Rick Roma, Neil Rey, Mischief, NonoZ, Ethan Axel Andrews, Sir Dark, Leon Cyrus, Kayden Keller, Kevin Nova, Mickey Knoxx, and Chase Addams. As you can see, plenty of recognizable names in the mix, as well as some new faces (to me at least), and I can assure you everyone makes an impact.
One more quick note for clarity, the GIFs I'm using are out of order. No spoilers here. :)
So, what happens when you get 17 wrestlers in a room together?

69 headscissors and sleeper train? A treat |
If any of you are like me and struggle to focus on one thing for extended periods of time, this match is quite literally perfect. The action is literally non-stop as wrestlers come in and get submitted out, sometimes splitting off into their own mini matches on different ends of the mat.
Multiple cameras capture all of the action. The match sometimes cuts between two different groups battling it out simultaneously, making sure you don't miss a single bead of sweat. If you think the match is too chaotic, don't fret. There are never more than 6 wrestlers on screen at a time, so in a way this match feels measured.

Who are you jealous of here? |
As I briefly touched on above, every entrant makes an impact in this match. The nature of the fight changes when someone with fresh lungs jumps in and surprise attacks someone. The WatchFighters Rumble bears a lot of resemblance to the pro wrestling counterpart, but it has one distinct advantage—it's hot as hell. These guys have no problem giving each other wedgies, diving head first into someone's ass, or simply making out. With 17 gorgeous guys to ogle at, there's bound to be at least one person to your taste in this match.
The wrestling is well-balanced in my opinion. You have your heels like NonoZ and Kayden doing their thing, but watch out for the jobbers like Feroce and B-Sprite. Jobbers are used to taking a beating, and they certainly know how to dish it out as well. There are many instances where you can see this happen. I've never been the biggest fan of one-sided matches, so this was a great thing to see.

Remember what I said about jobbers? |
Some of you won't be surprised to know that my favorite parts of this match are when everyone gets tangled together. It's always hot (and fun) trying to figure out whose limbs belong to who. It's like someone took apart a bunch of action figures and tossed them into a pile, except the pile is sweating and groaning.
Weird analogies aside, this match tends to go the way of many others I've reviewed previously: the eroticism and intensity ramps up towards the end. Some people stick around in the match for a while, and you can tell by how much they sweat. Later entrants have a distinct advantage in rumble matches because of this, but don't think for a second that this match is predictable.

I wish Kayden would've let that tangle carry on a bit longer |

Seriously, where else would you see something like this? |
I've gushed enough about how entertaining and hot this match is, all I have left to say is that it's well worth your time. It's the first of its kind (that I'm aware of), and I really hope more matches like these come in the future because not only do they look like a lot of fun, but they're a great way to show off a bunch of different creators at once. Watching this left me as satisfied as the lone victor at the end, basking in all his glory.
The WatchFighters Rumble has two parts. Part 1 has a runtime of 21:28 and can be viewed here. Part 2 has a runtime of 26:34 and can be viewed here. Once again I'd like to thank Sir Dark for setting this up and providing the match to me for review. It's a great testament to our community.
