D.Dan vs Judo Kan (Spy Shot 13) - Wrestlingmale

With many wrestling sites there are always pairings I'd love to see amongst their active roster. Unfortunately some never happen. D.Dan and Judo Kan is a pairing I'm so glad defied that expectation of mine. I was waiting for it ever since D.Dan's debut against Etienne in Xtremeshot Deal 1 for Hunter back at the end of 2020. Just over a year later did they finally meet for this match.

There is some preamble to this match, which begins with Etienne introducing them to each other for a kind of competitive training bout. D.Dan and Judo Kan appear well-matched, both going into this bout with a good reputations of their grappling skills. They start, however, with arm wrestling. Not my favorite kind of wrestling competition, I'd rather just see them lock up and roll around without a word, but it gets them close and emphasizes that they are of a similar strength.

D.Dan and Judo Kan begin their competition on the mat. It quickly becomes clear that this match will be a close one to call as they tussle across the red floor. The rules are simple, with each fall the loser must update the scorecard for some added humiliation.

The intensity rises as each man matches the other in skill and sweat. The action is very back-and-forth, with great displays of technique from both. There's a clean, competitive vibe to the beginning of this match, but there are moments where D.Dan and Judo Kan show their sadistic side as they smirk at each other's pain.

Not that this match needed to change at all, but halfway through the video their battle transitions to the ring. The ferocity in their competition is elevated as both men, covered in a fine layer of sweat, step through the ropes and face each other. Truth be told, I don't understand the reason for the move. But I won't complain about it either.

D.Dan in trouble

The pounding of feet on the hard ring floor gives the match a different energy. There's a slight change of pace and tone as the wrestlers continue in their struggle against each other. You can see the exhaustion and frustration on their faces as each hold is drawn out just a few seconds longer and each groan is just that little bit more visceral.

I wouldn't go as far as to call D.Dan and Judo Kan enemies. There are moments during this match where I think they would enjoy each other's company in other places, if you catch my drift. They don't pull their punches, however. There's a moment where D.Dan shoves Judo Kan against the turnbuckle by his neck. One of my favorite moments of the match for sure.

The sweat dripping off both of these men becomes more and more evident as the match reaches its climax. It's almost poetic. The scores remain close. There's almost never a moment where it seems like one of them is going to run away with the victory, just the kind of match I like.

The match's final moments are sensational. Both men have each other locked in a sweaty chokehold, rolling around for control. Chests pressed together, heaving as even drawing breath becomes a competition, is the video's high point. I won't say much else, but the ending of this match left one of these hunks breathless, much like myself.
